At CTS Dental Supplies, as our valued customers we take our responsibility of looking after your data seriously and are totally committed to protecting your information and safeguarding your privacy. We take great care to ensure we comply with best professional practice and the law under the terms of the Data Protection Act and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which is a legal framework that sets guidelines for the collection and processing of personal information of individuals within the European Union (EU). ... We believe we only have data that relates to your business and where we know we have your home address we will exclude from any marketing when requested. If you think we have your personal data then please let us know and we will amend our records. We will never pass your data on to a third party unless it is for a legitimate business reason as detailed in this policy or we obtained your consent prior. CTS would only send or call regarding Dental targeted offers/deals.

We believe we only send information that is related to your business or previous purchases. Our intention is to ensure that you are made aware of any promotions/offers that would be relevant to your practice and never to inundate you. How your Data is Stored

CTS holds this information on a computerised system and using an external accredited IT company that are GDPR compliant to review and monitor our systems. We use Firewall and anti-malware and anti-virus software and staff are all aware not to open suspicious e-mail or click on unapproved websites. Employees and third parties will only process your data on our instructions and have a duty of confidentiality.

We believe we have put in place security measures to prevent your data being lost, accessed or used in an unauthorised way

5.How long is Your Data Stored for?

The data we hold remains on our system until such time we are made aware that a business no longer trades from the address and then permanently deleted from the live system.

The data could be accessed via a backup restore which it kept in-line to satisfy legal, accounting or reporting requirements.

You have a right to OPT out at any point of any part of the communications. Please again contact us on 01737 765400 or e-mail unsubcribe@cts-dental.con and confirm account details and let us know your preferences. You also have a right to access a copy of your data and be informed about any data and why we hold it.

We will always aim to update your preferences within a 3 month cycle and this will be recorded on our computer system.

Mailing lists with be checked against our updated preferences and will contain full information of how to Opt out.

E-mails will contain unsubscribe and link to privacy policy

Tele calls will be screened against our own recorded do not call list.

Our number will be shown to anyone we call.

Although we record calls we would we do not make pre-recorded calls and do not use a predictor dialler.

We will also be actively explaining the Opt out and recording consent within the GDPR contact management of our computer package.

 

7. What if you are Unhappy or wish to raise a concern about any way we handle your data?

You can complain initially to our Data Protection Officer Jon Lodge who will do their best to resolve the matter. Should you still be unhappy with the outcome, we would like to be given a further opportunity to investigate further.
