This strong unique formula offers 3 benefits in 1 mouthwash. It neutralises VSCs and adheres to the mouth, teeth, and tongue, providing instant fresh breath that lasts for 12 hours. Additionally, it reduces tooth sensitivity with its arginine content and strengthens teeth with fluoride.
A combination of zinc and chlorhexidine in low concentrations has a synergistic effect on halitosis inhibition by removing the volatile sulphur compounds (VSCs). Zinc acetate by itself eliminates the hydrogen sulphide whereas, chlorhexidine breaks down gases containing sulphur molecules, which makes it easier for zinc ions to react with sulphur and form insoluble sulphides. Low concentrations of zinc and chlorhexidine can be used daily without side effects such as discolouration, and metallic after taste. CB12 has 0.5% sodium fluoride which has shown promising antibacterial and antiplaque efficacy and strengthens the enamel with daily use.
